UT3 TITAN PACK REVEALED!

The content of the UT3 Titan Pack, the biggest bonus pack in UT history, has been revealed! With 16 new maps, 57 Steam achievements, 2 gametypes and more, the Titan Pack aims to drag new players kicking and screaming back to the UT fold.

Would it be really stupid to have "achievements" in Unreal 1? Unreal Anthology can be purchased and downloaded through Steam right?

I never understood what these "achievements" even meant.  I played gears of war 2 and whenever I got an "achievement" logo at the bottom left of my screen I simply told it to "Get the f&ck out of my screen and leave me alone".  

Sounds to me like some way throw some advertisement while you play the game.  I'm sure in the future they will throw some cocacola logo down there

Why this is listed as one of the "major overhauls" in the new UT3 patch is beyond me. Frankly, I don't use ANY steam products and software and I think sh!t popping up at the bottom of your screen (xfire and these achievements) is a good way to piss someone who has a brain off.

In the link it says 57 steam achievements. They must be different from Xbox achievements, but I havent seen a steam achievement.

Probably as you do something in a match and get an achievement, your profile fills it in so you could brag about it.

Right.. Bragging rights, in otherwords they're utterly useless.

well achievements are useless i now but they are fun
achievements are only for a extra challenge
in HL2 you got a zombie achievement like kill 100 zombie's
and in UT3 you got the HAVE A GOOD DAY achievement
but for unreal it would be cool too like skaarj hunter (kill 250 skaarj's)
or no life (play 1 year everyday unreal) i would like to get achievements but we only need somebody wo can make them and patch them into unreal
