I just played AoE 2 now, and realised that. I never noticed it before!Yea, actually the crickets, owls and buzzs are used in Age of Empires 1 & 2. Think Unreal uses a general sound bank, like DOOM used to.
I've never heard the wind in Unreal.unr anywhere outside Unreal though. It's not that realistic, but it's a fun sound
