I found out where they got the alien sounds!!!!!!!

The Bactrian Camel! I was watching a program on discovery channel about them and I heard one of them make a skaarj growl and a nalicow moo. Then I thought wow that sounds familiar. and sure enough it was.

Well the Nali cow sound was from Doom. Kill some of the shotgun guys and other former humans you'll get the cow moo. But I'm sure that came from a camel or a cow.

And yes, they use both the Skaarj hurt sound (well, one of them) and the Nalicow moo. I'm starting to think that these are actually stock sounds and Epic just used them for the Skaarj.
And while we're on the subject of enemy sounds, here;s a fun fact. Some of the sounds the Brutes make was actually taken from recordings of "Myscha the Sled Dog" snoring whilst sleeping on one of the couches at the old Canadian studio that Epic developed the majority of the game in. At least, I think that's correct.

LOL! I'd never think of that. Well, I know that ASMD and GES are from Event Horizon, but are there any sounds from there?

I gotta ask my bro for Event Horizon. I know he has that movie, I watched it with him. MUST WATCH EVENT HORIZON RAAAAHHHH.
Lol, actually, the movie came on while my parents were watching satellite Turkish TV (where all Turkish channels are broadcast to our TV in the USA from the same satellite that broadcasts to Turkey.

The camel thing is long time known, I am surprised nobody noticed this.
I knew this beacuse I used to get a lot of contact with camels in circuses and also in egypt of course. And yes the doom sound is the same.
