It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

unreal server broken
help me please my unreal servers no longer work there will always be there is always Master Server Failed: Connecting to the master server timed out: ureal.epic games.com or timeout talking to master server sorry for bad english

What actually is the problem, do you have a client that can find no servers, or do you have a server that does not get listed?

the unreal browser when I click on populated or others I get that error

to engine.game enginecould be your router too, try forwarding ports 7770-7790

I think that the master server configuration in your Unreal.ini is invalid. Try this:
Make a backup of your current install
Delete your current install, especially the ini files
Re-install Unreal from CD
Apply patch 227e
This should give you a correct master server querying setup.
It is not needed to configure your router to play online. (Port forwarding is only needed for server hosting)

Or rename Unreal.ini to something like Unreal(1).ini, copy Default.ini in the same folder (\System) and rename it to Unreal.ini.
