It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

interesting statistics from my security.ini
87 people have connected to my server using 227, and only 12 have connected with pre 227.
Of course my server has alot of downloads, but it still shows that alot of people in the coop community know about 227 and use it.. which makes me glad
the oldunreal serpentine server has had over 100 clients connect, all using 227 since it's 227 only

Re: interesting statistics from my security.ini
If a comparison is intended I wouldn't put much weight on that being scientific. Players running 224/225/226f may hesitate to join your test server and those running 227 may be more inclined. The server title mentions 227 which can skew the statistics. At least the statistics does point out that there is likely a considerable migration to the 227 patch.87 people have connected to my server using 227, and only 12 have connected with pre 227.
For more complete and accurate statistics it may be better to run a 225 server that logs the versions that clients run.

I know I'm stupid, but why doesn't 227 log the exact version instead of 'pre227client'?

Maybe because pre 227 clients don't send the version number? Only a guess though.

Re: interesting statistics from my security.ini
mostly because the security system originally was only intended to work on the 227 specific IDs, so it didnt matter what version the older clients were, it was irrelevant anyway
