I'm usually criticized when I say I think Unreal I is still the best videogame ever made, but I'm firmly convinced I'm right.
However, I've played it too many times, and now I know every level by memory. Sadly, I no longer have much fun replaying it, as I know everything that's expecting me.
I've downloaded some mods, but few have managed to keep me interested for a significant length of time. The reason is always the same: compared to the original, they lack atmosphere.
So I ask you: are there any singleplayer, multilevel mods (conversions, connected map packs, anything), for any Unreal game, that manage to reproduce some of the atmosphere we all know from the first Unreal? You know, the Nali cities, giant rocks suspended in the sky, beautiful landscapes... the general feeling of awe and amazement?
Thanks.
