Wow just wow I didn't think that anyone would be left in unreal at all. Great to see that the game is still up and running. I tryed to get on the other day because I found a CD with an old copy but I had no luck =\. I was wondering if Havok is still around or even Acid? Anyways how has everyone been? The new years? Well maybe you can help me. Im trying to get a fresh copy of unreal to install from do you know of any downloads I can get it? I know Acid had one and I think havok had one back in the day.

Not only on this forum, but anywhere. When I was searching for it on torrent sites, I couldn't manage to find any!

Obviously we would like it if Unreal or UnrealGold could have a downloadlink somewhere, but as it is, its not freeware.


And people need to keep in mind, this is the official site from Smirftsch, and he was lucky enough to get the sourcecodes from Epic. And that is something no-one wants to ruin in any way, by posting links to warez.


Officially when you bought the game in the past, and you lost your copy or broke it. Than legally you are alowed to get it from any source you want to replace it. The reason for that is that when you bought it, you bought a license for the game, and thats for life, untill you sell your copy to someone else(and thereby loosing you license, by turning it over to someone else)


But we cannot control if this is the case, when links are posted to warez. And its simple, this site doesnt wanna take any chance with it, so links to warez are no go, simple as that. Please dont go post it.

Depending on what your system specs are will depend on how you patch the game.
I personally prefer 227 using opengl.
