What.... the hell is this...?

First off, Happy New Year everyone!! Another year closer to the end of the world (no, I don't really believe in that). Now, thread topic GO!

Ok, so due to the fact that UT3 isn't working ATM, I decided to download Ballistic Weapons and play Onslaught with them. I was being normal, having fun, when I see this... thing.

It was sitting idle next to ONS-RedPlanet's middle node. I saw it from a Raptor and I thought "The hell is that?". I approached the object. At first, it didn't do anything. I shot it a few times, but nothing happened. Then it budged. I stood back from it. It was idle again. I got back into the Raptor and flew up to continue observing it. The blue team had just started building their node in place of ours. All of a sudden, the thing up and moved into where the node was. I landed again and went after it. I thought it was a weird looking bot on the Blue Team. Nope, it was just... there. I destroyed the node and tried to "kill" the object. It began floating into the air and I went after it in the Raptor. A Blue Team guy shot me down so I playersonly'd everything and used the Fly cheat to go up to it. I began to observe it again when suddenly, I remembered that I could take screenshots:

I have no idea what the hell this thing is. Judging by the time, it seems to have appeared at exactly 2 hours (what can I say, I was having fun) since I literally observed it for two minutes since it appeared.

Is it a glitch? An Easter Egg? New Years present? Who knows? But it really freaked me out. I have never seen it until now. Perhaps it was coded into Ballistic Weapons? If you've seen this thing before, please tell me.

Ah, I found out what it was. It WAS a part of Ballistic weapons. There's a "bonus pack" for Ballistic weapons and it included two weapons: The Nova Staff and Dark Star. If you kill someone with the Nova Staff, which is aligned with Heaven, this thing comes out and floats around. If you have your own Nova Staff, you can pick it up to add a bit to your "special meter", which, when full, lets you do a special move that lets you fly around. It also gives you two more attack modes. The same is with the Dark Star, except it's aligned to fire and Hell. When you kill someone with that, a demon face with horns appears. The special move for this is you go "berserk". You run faster and hurt more. I did this constantly and got four-hundred frags. It's really fun, almost like a whole other game.

Cocaine can temporarily make you extremely strong and durable; I lived in Cleveland and seen it first hand lol. Seriously, I've seen some guy stand up to a friggin tazer and still kept going berserk.
