Help 227!

So i have unreal and patched it with 227 but it seems ALOT different and alot more options on the opengl settings. Anyone wanna help me with the options because i get random spikes.
System specs
amd 64 2.0ghz
3 gbs of ram
512 8500 gt
Windows Vista
22 in widescreen 1680x1050 res
i figured i could have it on high and play fine but i actually like the settings on low. Also if I have the res at 1680x1050 seems flaky. Any suggestions?

If your a DM player, I would suggest you use a lower resolution, but thats just me.. (I'm not sure about your wide screen though). I've always played best on 800x600 with Vsync on clocked at 85 Hz gaining a constant FPS of 85.
I have a 17 inch ViewSonic, so if I pump my resolution beyond 1024x768 in game, stuff becomes really really small all of the sudden.

Dual core right?That's more than likely your problem man.Get the amd optimizer.There are a couple fixes for this problem out there but it's been my experience that the amd optimizer works well.Lemme know eh?
