DirectX November Update
6 November 2008
Microsoft has released the November Update for DirectX. It is generally recommended that all Windows users update their DirectX for optimal performance and compatibility.
Update: This update appears to be problematic to install.

Cool! Did you see this?
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx
It lets you get all the drivers for all your devices in one place, without the need of going to the vendor's website or even going to Windows Update (which is somehow broken for me :-/ ). Cool!

That's maybe because you're absolutly unable to keep your system clean ?

It's clean as soap but every now and then the RAM module dies and I turn on comp and Windows got phucked up.

Very kind of them.

Hah, then instead of fixing the RAM, maybe you should look at what's burning/messing with it?

Or get a new good quality RAM and make sure nothing burns it. Never had any RAM problems myself, ever. When I think of it, I never had HDD, processor, graphics card, motherboard, USB drive or anything else problems that would be hardware, not software, related

DS, Unplug your computer then reset the ram modules in the sockets.
That usually does the trick., check and see if the ram or sockets need cleaning too.

Nope, I've had enough, thank you.
On my old PC the sockets were too loose and the module fell out about every 2-3 months of staying.
And I have only 512 MB of RAM atm, so my PC is just fast enough to actually be able to handle Unreal (game), Unreal dedicated server, UEd, IRC on 3 servers, my IRC server sometimes, Winamp, Anim8or, Photoshop 6 (ftw) and ImageReady 3 at the same time. And FireFox of course.

And that ain't enough. And I don't have any time to jump to center and buy more. And I'm too lazy btw.

Almost the same here, I've only have some issues with the ATI's drivers. it seems solved now.

Well I think I've solved my problem actually. That RAM module was probably about 4-5 yrs old.
