How much do you play Unreal? (per day)

Actually I don't really play Unreal, I do stuff like my damn weapon that won't work like it should, modelling sometimes, I made a song for Unreal today, etc.

I didn't really grow up on Unreal, but I am atm, I don't eat or drink much (beer ftw but oh well) and I don't study damn history that annoys me and, blah, blah, blah, you can say you saw HIGH VOLTAGE. The unforgettable sound. Bringing you up and taking you down, etc, etc.

I'm much like GreatEmerald. i've not played it for a few monthes, as my comp was not fully stable. Now I have, and I've started playing something like two hours a week.

I'm currently playing many games. The thing is Unreal is the only game i always come back to from time to time since I've had my first computer, and it's not going to change soon. And it's engine kicks asses.

But anyway, i've never been a great player. I'm essentialy a level-designer for fun, and I've spend many more hours in Unrealed than in Unreal itself, including every unrealeds and avery Unreal games

Well, I'm 0 for DM but I like coop and play coop and know many secrets and I started playing a bit of RTNP lately too, but I don't play anything newer cuz my connection hardly even handles Unreal. And if I got DSL, I still wouldn't play other games. Except install some shit game and go there and swear and curse noobs playing it. Just need to find something like that. I like spamming on noobsites and noobgames.

Yea, me too. Unreal Engines are so cool mostly because they're so easy to mod. Other games that lack this usually are a lot, lot less interesting and get boring after a while, while Unreal doesn't, as you can create your own levels for new, fresh action! And if something's not as good as you want it to be, just write a quick mutator and you're all set!

Indeed. I've played several other games on multiplayer a bit and lots of other games on single player, and most engines are like LOLWTFBBQ, etc. but Unreal engine(s) are so easy to mod and new maps are easy to create compared for example to Quake engine. Lol 10 minutes for a single room. BSP. I don't say anything bad about it but it's as hard and complicated as it possibly can be.

Quake engine is only different. When comparing equivalent generations, Quake Engine is often far more advanced than UT (compare Quake3/UT99, Doom3/UT2004, and soon, we'll compare Rage/UT3).

As far as modding is concern... It's a shock between different philosophy. I like Unreal's one, but Quake is very, very, VERY porwerful.

Hm, hardly any lately. "From time to time". I mostly play MMO's now because I like the character progression in a large multiplayer environment. From time to time I return to Unreal at my server and other coop servers, or to test u227 beta.

Well, I'm not sure how much i play per day, but my closest guess to my total lifetime hours on unreal is sad. i'm guessing about over 2 or 3k.

I started playing Unreal this summer and joined OldUnreal in September.

Lol I went looking for a patch and ended up right here, first link lol.

Then I was searching for some mods and tuts (PLUS wanted to know how does the ban system in U1 work) few months later (September) and guess what? OU again. So I registered at the forum; my first post was about ban system (I think).
