OldUnreal (Engine)

....a UT2K4 version of the Unreal 1 Stinger. You know, new models, animations, maybe even a couple of new features. You know, like someone did with the Ripper (RipJack for UT2K4), but this time with the Stinger. All I know is that I'd really like to see an updated version of the Unreal 1 Stinger in UT2K4, and not just a Minigun modified to shoot Tarydium.

Or, even better, the Unreal 1 Dispersion Pistol! And not with a goofy looking projectile either. Just imagine firing blue balls of plasma, and then picking up a weapon powerup, and then shooting green plasma, with all new effects, models, EVERYTHING!

I just wish there was someone skilled enough to introduce these guns to UT2K4 (hint, hint )

NOTE: Yes, I'm aware that Dots basically ported the entire game of Unreal 1 to UT2K4, but all of the weapons there are the same old models. I think it's time someone stood up and actually created a Stinger/DP specially created for UT2K4.

Well, I would personally like to see the Dispersion Pistol converted to UT2004. Actually, I have the animations but without the gauntlets. And no code nor projectiles...

And I wouldn't like to see Stinger in UT2004, because it's a very lousy weapon, everyone can dodge off the projectiles. But the UT3 solution is very, very nice - Stinger Minigun, primary fires like a minigun, while the alt fire functions like a Stinger, but the shards explode when they hit the ground and do massive damage (and are fired a lot slower because of that), plus it kills vehicles very, very fast. I'm working on a Stinger Minigun conversion, have the sounds already, still need the meshes, and of course the code.
