Poll on Unreal versions

So, which version of Unreal do you use? For playing, not making maps or such. I'm trying to see how many people still use Unreal and if it's worth using converters to convert maps from UPak anyway. There is a lot of cool stuff in there, that isn't frequently used...

If you use UGold but have reverted it to usual Unreal with the 227 patch, STILL choose UGold.

I cannot tell you how many servers, maps, mods and people I was denied over the years because of badly designed upak-compatible mods, 226f/gold maps. there really is no reason that should've happened, and no reason for it to continue

I played RTNP a while ago cuz I've find the CD in my mess, but I play only Unreal (the original) now. Actually, I don't play anyting in past few weeks, I only make my maps, meshes, etc.

UGold is Unreal and RTNP bundled, Unreal is Unreal without RTNP and Unreal and RTNP is 2 CDs, one for Unreal and one for RTNP...

Yeap, CARs rock. My favourites in both Unreals - in UnrealI they're powerful (and can shoot from both barrels at once! ), while in Unreal II it never runs out of ammo and doesn't need to be reloaded too often.

Hmm, currently it seems there are two times more UPak users than Unreal users... So I don't see how bad it would be to make UPak maps to use on a 227 server

I usually use unrealgold(on UT436) to play single player. And 227(installed on Unreal Gold) to play on net.

I'm using 227 for U1. I've used to have separate RTNP install (I have Totally Unreal, not UGold), but now I'm using 227 for both (RTNP for U1 mod I believe it was). I'm not playing multi/coop though, only SP.
