My son and I have managed to import the Stalker Shadows of Chernobyl Weapon Sounds into Unreal1.
You are welcome to rip them from cache from the server if you would like to tryem out or use any of them yourself.
I have no other way of getting them out to the public at the moment.
We also added Camo textures to all the weapons.
Sorry if the download is slow but the allow fast downloads if ticked,
disrupts my server upload for some strange reason, and I have yet to figure out. (225-226 doesn't effect this).
Anyway the sounds were Imported and installed using UE 225 so they should be compatable with most versions of Unreal.

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a very good game imho. If I ain't obsessed with Unreal, I would be obsessed with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I've achieved one of the 7 ends a few days ago. I've seen many many games. My opinion is
Stalker is the best game of all time after Deus Ex.
It would be the ULTIMATE FCKING GAME if it wasn't so full of bugs.
At some point, I lost the storyline. I didn't knew what I was trying to do. I didn't knew where to go. I didn't knew anything about this game, and it had a massive amount of bugs.
yet i kept playing because it was just GREAT. The game itself is great. It has a considerable amount of verya nnoying flaws and bugs. If you want to say something bad about it, you only have to choose.
But it doesn't matter. It's the best game.

If you really want to play Stalker the way it was meant to be played, the way it had been promoted to be played instead on the vanilla version, go to filefront and download the Oblivion Lost 2.2 mod.
Not only does it Rock, but it's played in the true sense of the game .

too bad the latest OL 2.2 pretty much rapes you in the end as they DISABLED THE GOOD ENDING, that was a major let down in the end :-/
