Adjusting difficulty to 6 in 227?
Hi.Yesterday I decided to download 227. I red through the release notes and noticed it said you could change the difficulty level from 1-6. I'm interested in trying the hardest level, but I didn't manage to change it. Could you try to explain a little bit in detail how to adjust it, and a bit information about what the differences between the "Unreal" and 6th difficulty is. I am using Vista. If this question is already answered, I apologize.

If you are using standard UBrowser console (normal menu where you use up/down/enter keys to navigate) then no, you can't access it simply like that.
But if you change your console to UT style menu then you can play the harder skill levels.
To do that read it about it from here: http://www.oldunreal.com/wiki/index.php?title=Oldunreal_227_FAQ#I_want_to_use_the_Unreal_Gold.2FUnreal_Tournament_menu_interface_instead_of_this_old_one.21

Re: Adjusting difficulty to 6 in 227?
In single player the easiest way to do that is by using a syntax line.
Start unreal, and on the flyby screen, (where you fly around the castle)
Hit the Tab key and type: open vortex2?difficulty=6 then hit the Enter key.
That'll start your game in the highest difficulty.
Cheers

After I changed the Unreal menu, the "godlike" difficulty showed. Thanx
What are the main differenses between the classic "Unreal" difficulty and "godlike"? Are there more monsters? AI? Hitpoints? etc.

Re: Adjusting difficulty to 6 in 227?
they move faster, have more health, better strategy{to an extent} and their projectiles should move faster{not all of them due to client sync issues}
