OldUnreal (Engine)

Anybody want to make one and add CliffyB? Maybe he'll join our site that way.

As I have mentioned before, Cliffy B does know about OldUnreal. I doubt he'll become a 'member' though. In his position it might be impossible to be that involved directly with any Unreal community.

But as for OldUnreal being recognized - it is. Alot of the 'support networks' for Unreal series are quite aware of OldUnreal. Just to name a few: Gamespy, FileFront and Gamespot.

There are a couple OldUnreal members who've made quite a splash in other Unreal communities - UT, UT2004 and UT3.

For example: A very popular custom Unreal 1 map was ported to UT2004 by a handful of Unreal 1 peeps. In 2007 it was "Custom Level of the Year." It was also the 2nd most downloaded custom level of ANY game online supported by the FileFront network, in 2007.

No brag, just fact !!

Little efforts and contributions like that also help to promote the dedication and talents of OldUnreal peeps. Also, I believe it was the Unreal 1 (and UT too) community that got the AutoMag into UT3.

I know he knows me and Oldunreal, guess all of Epic do, I think I've spoken to every person there over the ages which was involved creating Unreal .
Of course I'd be happy and proud to have him (or anyone else of the team) here as member but I think if anyone of them would be a member, then probably incognito...

Yeap, like in BeyondUnreal forums we have people such as Matthias Worch and Scott Dalton registered (creators of U2). They even post some times.
