It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

QUERY: Unreal patch 227 & coop mode...
I love the OldUnreal unofficial 227 patch. It fixes my slow-down gameplays when running Unreal in Vista. How did you guys do it? Did you have access to Unreal's source code?
Anyway, I was curious about the coop mode. Was coop always in Unreal or was this added in by the 227 patch?
Does the coop multiplayer give us access to ALL Unreal 1 single player missions? or only a selected handful? It's because I find it hard finding the first single player level, because we chose a map, and the maps are alphabetically sorted...with different location names rather than level1 or map1, 2, 3, etc. I need to know if we can ACTUALLY play a FULL coop of the whole Unreal single player story line.... and whether we can save... or just take note of which level we last played.

Coop has always been there.
You just have to know which level was the first (Vortex2), then it should go in chronological order.

iirc, in the classic ubrowser you have to scroll all the way to the right to get to "Coop" so its no wonder he never knew..
edit: also, in unreal 1, all maps support all gametypes, sans a few custom gametypes, i could see problems with CTF that can;t be mutated in correctly.

Does it? I looked at the Walkthrough and it's sorted by levels in chronological order. It states the full level name, rather than the actual map name (which is a shorten version ).And, you can always take a look at the walkthrough here, as it has an alphabetically sorted map list.

Okay, one more question.
Is it possible to save during a multiplayer coop?
If not, then we just have to remember the level we got to... and find the shorten version name of that level... which corresponds to the map name...

multiplayer coop can't be saved - you may want to keep the server running instead. If you can't do that- yes, you have to remember the map. Annoying however- you will lose your inventory then.
Indeed, such a "simple" thing as a mapping would be sometimes useful. Even I have to check now and then whats the name of a specific map.
It's just one of these ideas which make life easier sometimes

Lol I thought cronological but said alphabetical, I'm not very good at english. 
Yep, I thought cronological. And everybody who plays coop for a while learns what filename refers to what map. For example, I started playing Unreal on multiplayer (Coop only, no DM) in June or July and I learned everything in less then a month. (I think) I know almost every shortcut in default maps and many tricks for easier playing on hardest difficulty.

Some gametypes have ability to keep inventories even after server \ crash restart as an option... You know which ^________^Annoying however- you will lose your inventory then
