OldUnreal (Engine)

My mom and I tried to send payment to Pay Pal, but the page is in (I think) German. Unfortunately, neither of us speak, read or write any language but English. How do we get it to come up in English?

Any help appreciated.

Didn't notice it switched back to german. When I set it up it was english. They must have changed it.

If i am correct you can set your own page to any language you want, but it might be the case that visitors see the native language instead plain English. Kinda stupid though.........

I checked and it shows German on me as well, and i dont see any button where you can change the language. On top in the adressbar it ddoes say https://www.paypal.com/de/ which means that that is the reason its German.


Dunno if its possible to also setup an paypall acount in the US. Regardless, its a kinda stupid stunt from PayPal to not have a choice.

Well, than here are instructions lol.

- Use the PayPal button.
- In the adresbar where it says:

https://www.paypal.com/de/cgi-bin/
change that to:
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/

(change de to us)



Innitially it will still be German, but on top where it says US English, change that to Spanish  [img]http://www.oldunreal.com/public_html/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/rolleyes.gif[/img]

- The page will still be German and the language button is gone now.
- Hit the back Button and you will get previous page again(still in German) and the language will say Spanish.
- Now change Spanish to English and if correct the page will be English now  [img]http://www.oldunreal.com/public_html/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/rolleyes.gif[/img]


And yes i am the first one to admit this is a complete retarded way of doing............




And prob the easyest way is to simply login into your own acount and transfer the money directly to Smirftsch mail adres. And to Smirftsch, dont forget to check your spambox for the conformation/accept mail !
