Mutator?

I have been (for a long time) trying to use UTWeapons mutators, the instagib and all utweaps. can anyone help me?

UTWeapons come with 2 mutators. 1 to replace all weps with UT weps and the other to make the game instagib.

It should tell you what they are in the readme file of the UTWeapons that you downloaded.

I'd tell you what they are here but i dont remember, and i don't feel like looking for the readme of it lol :P

I'm confused about this as well. It talks about putting the Mutator Line somewhere and I can't find that location. :-?

this is right in the manual but since u guyz cant find it this it how u add the mutator line:

U can add it 2 ways... 1. in the start up command line of the file for ut dedicated server which would look something like this c:/unreal/system/unreal.exe vortex2?gametype=(the game type)?mutator=(UT mutator command line here)?-server

or u can add it in the ini settings of the game type itself if it has an add mutator slot :P

i always use .bat' files to start my servers

cd spel
cd unrealtournament
cd system
unrealtournament ?game=?mutator= -log -server

oxid's answer is the best. You can add a mutator when you start unreal or when you open a map. To do it when you start unreal, do:
unreal.exe ?game=?mutator=[,mutator2][,...]
The mutator for UTweapons is "UTweapons.UTWeapons". Shivaxi mentioned a second mutator but I don't know what it is. This one will replace all unreal weapons with the UT counterpart, e.g. automag -> enforcer. So to start unreal on deathmatch with this mutator on DMRadikus, you'd type:
unreal.exe DMRadikus?game=unrealshare.deathmatchgame?mutator=UTWeapons.UTWeapons
you can do it in a similar way for opening a map midgame...
open DMRadikus?game=unrealshare.deathmatchgame?mutator=UTWeapons.UTWeapons

Also, if you want, you can connect mutators together with a comma but no spaces as long as the mutators don't conflict, like having both utweapons and instagib mutators on at the same time would cause a problem, but having utweapons and another mod like the utinv mod from the same author of the utweapons.u mod would be a perfect combonation, like UT pickups in unreal.
