Port Fowarding

Aight u should already know that this is about some trouble with me fowarding ports... I recently just installed a router for my computer to hook up some othe things 2 use the internet but...every since then my server wont show up in the master server list only in LAN Games. I went to portfoward.com but they didnt solve my problem. I did everything they said but it still wont show up so does anyone else have a solution???

What you usually need for this to work is NAT.
But to say exactly what you need to do, you need to post first what router etc. you are using.

You might need to bind your server explicitely to your external IP. Search for the topic "MULTIHOME parameter" (just add MULTIHOME=(IP address) to your startup line I think...).

Alright so I fowarded all my ports to my static IP address and the type of router I have is LinkSys Model BEFSR41

Okay if you can clearly state to me what those are I might be able to get it to u:
Router Firmware:

OS: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)
NAT: all I know is its OPEN...dont know if thats any help
INI: do u mean Unreal INI settings???

well ok, skip the firmware for now.
NAT - Open? Huh ? Doesnt make any sense. NAT basically means you enter the IP of the local machine (your server) into the router and tell it that any request from the outside on a given port (the Unreal ports listed in the Unreal Reference) is redirected directly to this IP.

I found the firmware version its 1.37, Jan 03, 2001...old
Well I have already fowarded the ports that unreal uses through to my static IP.

i think I solved my problem...I forwarded the port 7774 to my static IP idk y but I think it was using the port above the one I typed in...sry for the confusion
