It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Thanks for the Patch

Post by Wee »

I've been playing Unreal since around XMAS of 2000 right up until October last year when my HDD and MB took a collective dump on me.

I bought a new rig with VISTA and an integrated video card [spits] and could not play Unreal.  I cut my kid's allowance and recently installed a new video card but still could not play.

It was like running in molassis...I'd take take two steps running fine then drag for ten.  So I figured I was thru with Unreal.

Sitting here bored at work going thru some old message boards and I see the new patch you made.

I didn;t get to play much, but I installed the patch last night and it looks like I'm back in action.

Now where the hell is everybody?? ::)

Hey man, long time no see! Glad to see you pop in here. There is usually a few of us on around 8-9 EST., sometimes later, sometimes earlier. Pop in the RoK or GUI server sometime. Take care man! :D

I know what you're talking about. It was like Unreal would automatically start up in slomo 10 for me and even when I did the command slomo 0 it was still fast.

P.S.    Smirf just ignore the bad comments on 227 and keep up the good work. There are people out there that appreciate what your doing  8-)

I know, just some comments simply need an answer...
But anyway, I'm happy about everyone who likes and uses the patch :)
