I don't understand, if you have the game why don't you try it out?
Or, is there something else you need to know?

It's short, and is medium. At the Easy level, you still get some quite powerful foes.
The graphics are Unreal. Really, they are like UT3's.
Never had XBox so can't tell.

It's a good game, but not really Unreal. Sure, they include the Skaarj, but that's all that is really connected with the original. Graphics are decent, seen better but seen much, much worse. And I'd have to say the PC version is better, but I'll favor PC over anything no matter what.

No, it actually IS Unreal. Everything is included in the Unreal Timeline. Sure, the weapons are original, but that's even better! And Izarians = modified Krall (And these were originally called Kraal, prob Skaarj name).

It didn't FEEL like Unreal, though. I was hoping it would be based off of the original more and there were too many humans involved. However, the last 2 aliens you meet are pretty cool, but I'm not gonna give out another spoiler for this guy

I have played, Finished, and mastered U2. It is a really great game with some really great graphics. Im sorta late on this reply, but i have been away. If you are experienced laggy play, you should probably turn down the graphics unless you have the RAM and a top-of-the-line graphics card. If you have a good Gfx card, then you can truly unleash the true view of U2, I must say, i was wishing that this game would have been a continution to the original but it was not, If I were able to get into contact with EPIC then I would try to sway them to create a continuation. Sry for the late post

When I used to play U back in 1998, there was a saying "I cannot imagine a game called "Unreal 2", it seemed very unfitting for such a masterpiece and obvious that a project called U2 would be a commercial, mainstream thing. Seems like so it happened...

Maybe Unreal 3 will be more centered to the classic Unreal

Like, bridging the gap between U2 and U1, for example, showing Dalton on Na Pali meeting Prisoner 849

But we can only wait to see.

Yea. If it's not announced, it doesn't mean there won't be one. Why shouldn't they do one? Each of the engines had one Unreal. UEngine 1 - Unreal and UT; UEngine 2 - U2 and UT03/04; UEngine 3 - UT3... And guess what's missing?

Gears of War
but I heard that they weren't going to make another Unreal.

They are.
Shack: So what's next after UT3 and Gears of War 2? More Unreal? Something new?
Tanya Jessen: We've got a few secret projects that will be talked about I'm sure in the coming time. We love the Unreal franchise and I assure you there's more to come.
The guys are working really hard to continue to support it because this, I mean, Epic wouldn't be Epic without Unreal. This is definitely something that we're continuing to work on and continuing to improve.
But Gears 2, yeah! Our company is really focused on it right now.

Interesting. Well, that's good to hear. Hopefully they're not actually talking about the UT series. Everyone I talk to thinks that Unreal is really UT >.

Well, Unreal franchise includes Unreals and Unreal Tournaments, as well as Unreal Championships. But as it's a long time there's no Unreal 3, and people support the Unreal 3 idea, I think it will be released. UC2 was released recently, so I don't think they would work on UC3. And UT3 is just released.
