NewbiesPlayground-(DOG)- Servers

I felt a post to put the position of the Newbies Servers in the daylight was needed.  We are an old server, running since 1998.  We have survived when many have come and gone.  We have very strict decency rules that are enforced on a daily basis.  I have very good admins which I fully back.  Many of you are being exposed to Newbies for the first time, since we have just now begin to offer a server in the COOP realm.  

We do not tolerate large quantites of talking smak, profanity, indecent names, name calling, racial slurs or reference to drugs and or drug use.  These actions are sure bans.  I am a forgiving person, and I often clear the KTBan and the Kickban ini files to give people second and third chances.  I have taught many players to type t to talk.  We try to help people with game trouble and to encourage the survival of Unreal one.  If you have doubt for the the reasons behind newbies, visit our website and read Sickpuppys story who founded the server and the Clan.  

First the Clan does not run these servers.  Oldsparky runs the servers so the buck stops here.

Second I always tell the truth, I mean what I say and I say what I mean.

I also make mistakes, that is why I use pencils.

I am very Old (read senile) and have been managing people for 40 years and have seen and heard it all.

The newbies servers are private servers available for public play if you follow our rules.

I only request permanent system bans for people that bypass the server ban systems or launch DOS attacks against our servers.  I think I have requested 3 system bans with TNN.

You play by our rules and have fun, thats the object of our servers and we have a pretty good community of DM players now tasting and testing the waters in COOP.  Frankly I am rather disappointed at what I have seen from the COOP players thus far.

We also have discovered some excellent players and people who are sure to become our best friends.  We enjoy unreal in the DOG clan and we are a on-line family.  We think you can have online games with out filth.  We wish to invite you all to play on any of our servers, just keep it clean and think of others a bit.  Visit www.newbiesplayground.com for further information and background on the servers or the clan history.

Just interested, what maps and mods do you run there? And how many people are usually on?
