Prefab brushes

Post by DieHard SCWS »

After asking how to make screenshots i completelly forgot to go mention theres an updated Prefab section on Unreal Texture  ::)

Here is the link for those: PreFabs

Of course where possible i added high resolution screenshots to it, and thanks everybody for the replies on how to make the screenshots, its appreciated :) Happy building all.

On later shedule i will add some 300/500 more prefabs.

Are some of these prefabs from the (now defunct) unrealized.com? i remember that site had an enormous amount of prefabs to use.

although personally i'd recommend people to be cautious with using most of these prefabs, if i remember from unrealized some of them are really impractical and will not work properly and mess up the bsp (either due to complexity or wrongly applied normal polygons)

Yep you are correct, the downloads include all unrealized.com brushes. But i also added some 160 more brushes that originate from DeusEx.

I think there are some very cool brushes inthere, and i agree, some of them may be difficult to use. I guess its try and error. And personally i prefer to make everything myself.

But the pictures also serve very well as examples or to give mappers ideas, which is just as important :)
