I'm thinking about the MAC users, will they get a patch.

UGold users I think should have some kind of Alpha patch.

Unreal DOES work on MAC's...ive used it and have it on a MAC as we speak...er...as i speak :P

I don't think there are ANY mac players though...so unless someone requests it who playz mac...i wouldnt bother

Smirftsch, is there any chance you could create a sunlight light actor? Mappers could benefit a whole lot from that.

Just like to add my 2 bits. I have played unreal 1 since around beta times. The things that I like about is the feel of the pvp and coop. Newer games they just seemed to take that feeling of being there away and are not as snappy.
the real big thing is the coop part of unreal 1 and the story telling. This has been a draw for everyone and inspires people to create maps. but the map making is not as easy as it could be for people.

If the game was redone with the idea of makeing it able to make maps easier. It would be nice if the mods from the differnt games like unreal rune ut and others could be incorporated together. to make a nice set of fun effects to make maps.

I have tried makeing some prefabed rooms that are common sizes that could be loaded in but it would be handy to have a few handy for quick layout. instead of just the 256 one.


If redoing the game might as well make it with a disk including skins textures etc.
