Keyboard causes bleeping

Hi,
My crouch is set to ' X '. When I crouch and use my movement keys simultaneously, my pc speaker starts bleeping. I remember having this same problem a long time ago with my 286 in very old games. Back then, if I recall it correctly, I was able to solve this by setting the ' buffers= ' syntax in my config.sys file. This doesn't work for Unreal (cause of Windows).
Is there any way to solve this problem for Unreal? Cause I'm having the feeling that my system misses out some strokes with excessive/combined keyboard use. I checked the bios for the typematic rate setting but it's not there. It's a quiet new pc so maybe they took out that feature in this new bios, but there must be some way to fix it. Or is it just my imagination of missing out keyboard strokes?
Thanks!

Beeping is always caused when you keep several buttons pushed in some computers. It's totally normal. Your computer just informs that you have very many buttons pushed and that you can get unwanted results, like long text in Notepad, so it stops the continuation, for example, three letters at the same time: "sdffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff" Four letters: "sdf" I am holding g, but it won't type it in, though this shouldn't be a problem in games.
So just ignore it. Maybe there is something to make it stop, but this is not an issue with Unreal. You can try typing things in Notepad that way.

You sure? Cause not that it nescessarily means that it is an issue nowadays,, but back in the old days to many strokes (indicated by them bleeps) made my computer missed out some. Sometimes in combat or when moving around intensively it feels like my computer misses some strokes, but then again that can also be cause I try to dodge to often in a short period of time.

The laptop I'm using doesn't have the sound function (but still won't let 4 symbols at a time), but my secondary computer (stationary) has the beeps, and I didn't notice anything while playing Unreal Tournament there.

The only solution i know of is to get a quality usb keyboard, some of those let you press >4 keys at once, cheap ones will do only 2 lol..

I am sure that any decent keyboard nowadays doesn't have that keypress/beep limit, even my current cheap non-usb one can press multiple keys simultaniously.

My keyboard is pretty intresting... from first row of letters I can press "qwerty" keys before it starts bleeping, second row I can press "asdfghj", third row "zxcvbnm". But when I combine from 2 or 3 rows like.. "qaz(x)" I can only press 2 or 3 keys at once.

Don't press Shift very rapidly in WinXP or you'll going to get nagged by this "accessibility" option for the disabled, and it's easy to turn that off.
