Dont have FTP access on Old Unreal at the moment (need to reinstall my accounts), so i cant change it myself at the moment.

And since were talking about the link to UnrealTexture.com , do you guys like the new design, any remarks about that? And with the new design i added advertisement to the pages. That too, i am wondering if its not too intrusive, or can you guys find yourself into it ?
I brightened the buttons so they are better visible, since a few people complained about it, 2 complains really, while no-one ever complained about it with the Celtic Warriors site. Just to be on the safe side i brightened them never the less. Overall i added a few pictures as background to make it more cheerfull ::). The planets are the planets i made for the URProject btw.
But i would like to hear what you guys think of it all?

And the fact that this happened TWICE now along with the fact a download disappeared makes me think...
Somebody of the admins must forget to SYNCH his local copy of the oldunreal pages before adding new stuff, otherwise I don't know how to explain re-appearing mistakes that already have been corrected in the past. Needless to say, it's utterly annoying!

Well, i only made a change once, which was when i changed the downloadpage with the S3TC packages on them. The packages had a date in them backthan, which i discarded, so i could replace the packages without having to update the pages themselves.
Couple a weeks later Smirftsch re-uploaded his old page, and overwrote it back with the datenamed packages. I think i re-uploaded it back again, not sure, but did mention it on the forums somewhere.
But i guess, it can happen from time to time. Its after all a joined efford. And a page can easelly be overwritten with an old version. If i change a page than ill do the same as backthan, ill download that page on the spot via FTP, keep a backup (just in case i made a stupid error) and than upload a new page created from that downloaded page. Means i dont have anything mirrored at all.
I do backup the site once a year or 2 years. But that is a backup i never would touch anyhow, to prevent errors mentioned. Your remark does remind me to add redirects for the S3TC files next week btw.
And on a sidenote, we got good people comming here, that will point it out to us if there is a problem, as ''A the first letter'' did in this case :). All sites, and that inludes my own sites need people from the ''outside" to do bugreport on the site itself. For that same reason i added from start such a button on each individual page.

I think it's too hierarchical. Some pages are only found after going through 2 other pages.

I love the new design diehard, I think its incredible. Letter has a point though, stuff should be "more easily" accessible on the site through direct links. I remember when i had a problem finding the .PSD files on the site because of this problem.
If this means adding more and more links to the mainpage, maybe that is needed. (although it might look tacky)
