Hey there, I've bought 4gigs of DDR2 800Mhz DualChannel RAM, a new mobo, and a new CPU, everything was running fine until recently where my unreal has terrible glitching (similar to vista maybe?) and when I exit fullscreen to go into windowed it completely screws up, I've messed with many settings and I have no idea what else I can do aside from reinstalling my drivers because it WAS working, but yea any helpful info is much obliged.

there are 2 possible explanations from the informations you gave us here:
1. New nvidia drivers seem to mess up Unreal (and some other games too I noticed), but work fine up to driver version 162.18 - everything higher than this seems to cause trouble.
2. Maybe the dualcore problem, there are some topics below in this forums.

I fixed it, I put it in 98 & ME compatibility mode, I think unreal may not like how the future is looking xD, it's becoming too awesome for unreal.

If i can get a finicky game such as system shock 2 to work with modern hardware unreal isn't a problem
if you use dual core, wrap the unreal.exe to use only one core, and like smir said to use older drivers for nvidia cards..
if you run 225, i
strongly suggest you use the http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/ glide wrapper, otherwise use the OMP patch for 226/224 for ogl/d3d..
227a is fine on all counts i've encountered at least.
not much else can be said.. gl

same thing here. I have a high quality system and Unreal loves the new technology in most cases.
