Since this week I am having some problems, expecially on SA servers, keep combination of warping, lagging and freezing, please reply if you have a solution or cause of why it will be greatly appreciated
Ingame you can hit TAB stat net to see what your statistics are, like ping, unordred per second and package loss. They all can point to a problem somewhere in the line.

Shut down any internet connection like Yahoo, AIM, Unreal, Internet explorer or whatever program there is that uses internet connections.
After installation go in
Config and make sure both
DNS lookup and
Packet Loss are Enabled.
Next to
About you can enter the IP from the server you play in (in the example i used 63.124.142.2)
Than hit
Trace and have it run for like 5 minutes, after that hit the
Abort button. It might take a while till its done measuring the packet loss.

You may also want to check your own computer for Spyware, MalWare, Hackware or virusses, those WILL ruin your internet connection by default and might explain your lag if present..........
PS, i had my FTP running at full speed which explains the horrible measurements
