not trying to be too harsh tho, but i'd feel sympathy with you, however admittedly stating the cause was pirating a bootleg game pretty much tells me this sorta serves you right.

i might suggest a few things to do now?
if your pc isn't already messed up to the max already i'd suggest booting up in safe mode, do various virus scans, and ofcourse keep an eye out yourself for any hidden processes and odd registry happenings.
and ofcourse the most important thing to do is START BUYING YOUR SOFTWARE!!! PIRACY IS AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY ASWELL AS US LEGIT OWNERS WHO HAVE TO FACE ROOTKITS THANKS TO YOU!

I'm also seeing that p2p networks are full of virusses and malware. I can't recommend using it without having a first-class anti-malware program and a healthy bit of caution. Good luck with recovering your system. I can recommend downloading a trial of NOD32. It has a very good detection rate and doesn't take very much system resources.

NOD32 is good. You can also get one year free of AVAST,another excellent anti virus with great heuristics.

If it's a DVD it's easier to put up for dl.  UT3 is a pile of sh!t.  And a little word of advice for p2p...

First, check to see if someone has already labeled the torrent bad at http://torrentspam.com/...you can even download their toolbar for IE and Firefox.  Second, always run a virus scan when you are done dling before running ANYTHING...unless you know it is coming from a legit source.  Third, get Peer Guardian 2 and Symantec Protection Agent so you can see who is trying to connect to your PC in an illegal way or a way they are not supposed to.  Peer Guardian 2 will also block a lot of bad ips and companys that monitor your PC.  I've also got an extra two lists that will basically double the number of IPs blocked.  But always have a virus scanner that does on-access scan.

EDIT: Always read the comments too. Usually just by reading the comments you can find out if a file is what it is saying it is or not.
