UnrealEd won't start

Hi all, I'm sorry to annoy you, but I can't start my UnrealED because I get this error:

Strange...what version of Unreal do you have?

Try updating to the 227 patch found on this site, or using the UEDFix4 patch, which I don't have a link to atm =/

I'm not using Unreal but Unreal Tournament, I don't know what's the problem, it just doesnt' want to start, I got no other problems with Unreal other than that :\

If your Unreal Tournament installation is version 451, it will always crash, this is why I don't like UnrealED 2.0 at all...

Make sure your version is 436. Version 451 should only be used for server hosts, so I'm told...

My version IS 451 because I saw that with the 436 I couldn't play on 451 servers, and most of the servers use the 451, so I installed it. So... what do I do know? is there some chance for me to use UnrealED?

You can play on 451 servers, you just need it if you want to host a server. Unless you plan on doing that, you can go ahead and install 456 and everything will work fine, and that includes servers.

No, I don't need to do a server, though I created it locally a couple of times and hosted a couple of matches just to test, and... you said if I install version 456 it'll work fine? I'll try, and thanks you guys for the help!

Thanks for your reply, now I understand what happened, why everyone is using 451 (ehm, including me) and why UnrealED 2 crashes... Jet was talking about a 456 version, but I can't find it anywhere, does that version really exist, and if so, where can I find it? thanks

Are you sure it'll let me play in 451 servers? because I remember getting refused by servers with a "versions mismatch" message

Mismatch would mean the map or some file was not the same. Nothing to do with versions
