cunstom music files arent working

hello again, i have some music to use in unreal but when i ave made it to the right file format and with the right sample rate happens there nothing. when i press play in the urealEd works it fine. but in game do i hear no sounds even not when i try to play it with the music player.

Files made that way have ENORMOUS size, don't do that... Just convert your MP3 to OGG and import the OGG into UEd and save as UMX. (227 supports OGG, why not use it?)

the problem is that that ogg converter is an trail version....... and only for 10 convertions. however the problem was that the name of the song was to short

oh man come one, there are tons of those converters ...
take dbamp powerconverter, with the expection of the mp3 converting trail you can use that thing as much as you like and for free.

No. F*ck those converters. Use Audacity, it's completely free, and it handles WAV, MP3 and OGG completely normally.

hehe i used wavepad.. anyway, just tryed OGG, and it didn't work for me. No music in editor, no music in-game.. it did import and save the file. i'll try winamp in a few mins, see if that changes anything. (with the |LOOP thingy)

I use Audacity, and I import the file as it's saved, no additional changes. Just make sure it's stereo, otherwise it gets doppler effect so it gets completely ruined.

Keep in mind that Ogg never were supported under Galaxy audio driver.
