Importing sounds

Post by GreatEmerald »

How does the editor know if a sound is looping or OneShot? I'm trying to import UT2004's Siren as a OneShot sound, but it keeps adding it as a looping one...

Maybe the sound itself is set to loop. When you import it you've got the option to make it looping or not. Export the sound as .wav (whatever), check it out in a tracker (whatever), and import it again.

I'm not very knowledgeable about the 'audio' quirks of Unreal, as everything I've used has worked out with no glitches. *knocks wood*

Yes, possibly, how else would the editor decide if it's looping or not? But the question is, how exactly can I remove the loop headings?
