It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

UED2 crashes in Win XP ??

Are Im the only one who experience many crashes of UED2 in Win XP Pro ???
I am using UED2 G.O.T.Y v436

Sometime the viewports doesnt show up,sometimes it just hangs and when I play the map from UED it crashes many times also.

Any ideas ??

Hmmm... We might need more info. Is there something that you do which induces the crash, or is it somewhat random? Sometimes if you are vertex editing and you accidentally overlap two vertices in the same X, Y, Z coordinates, UEd WILL crash (does not matter what version). Other crashes could be related to the type of display you are using (so try changing the UEd display from D3D to software rendering - this will also improve performance in some cases). These are my suggestions for now, until I have more information to work with.

Yes, viewports might not show up. View->Viewports->Configure->OK to fix that.
Yes, it hangs when you use the UEd's play button. Just don't use it.
