Detail Textures with S3TC
I was wondering, is there a reason why Detail textures do not show up in the S3TC textures ?

They do show up, but only if you activate two layer of them. if you don't, S3TC textures are so detailed that the detail texture is barely visible.

I don't understand what you mean by that, what layers do you refer too ?They do show up, but only if you activate two layer of them.

Re: Detail Textures with S3TC
It is the "DetailMax" setting under OpenGL options. It should be set to at least 2 for the best quality. Set to 1 if you get low performance on slower/older computers.I don't understand what you mean by that, what layers do you refer too ?They do show up, but only if you activate two layer of them.

Re: Detail Textures with S3TC
But this only applies to S3TC i asume, because with setting 0 i can see the Detail textures in the normal textures just fine. And because i could see them there, and not in the S3TC textures i kinda asumed they won't work.

Re: Detail Textures with S3TC
In fact only two settings currently work in the driver : 1, the default and 2. So 0 was 1 but 1 cannot be seen, see my first post. Second optional layer was added upon request into UTGLR driver, and the coder doesn't like it much, so it was limited to two layers.
