loading a map with missing .u file
Hi. I apologize in advance if this sort of question has already been asked/answered. Around 2007-2008 a mod for unreal1 was created called Utrials. It is very similar to the bunnytrack mod for ut99. Utrials never really gained popularity, but bunnytracks still has a very active community. There was a lot of work put into the utrials maps and I wanted to port them over to ut99 so these maps can get some use and don't go to waste. The majority of these maps have missing files that I couldn't find anywhere, but it looks like I was still able to open maps with missing .utx and .umx files. I was wondering if I am able to open a map with a missing .U file? Or if there is a way I can export it and re import back into ued? The map name is TR-Spacewalk.unr and the missing file is MultiSkyzoneInfo.U I was able to find a compressed version of this file on the ut99 files redirect site. However, it was a .UC file instead of a .U file. Not really sure what a .uc file is? I renamed it to a .u file and it crashes the editor and game when i try to open map (although it doesn't say any files are missing) I really appreciate anyone who is willing to help me out with this. If you have this file in your system or know where to find it please let me know. Thanks again.
