Hey everyone - long time lurker, first time poster.
I remember using the Serpentine mod when I was younger, not long after I picked up the original Unreal (oh, what a time that was). I've got some memories of using it in singleplayer though - there were areas that were harder as you couldn't fire the guns underwater, and the RPG was enough to take down a Titan or the Queen in a single shot, so I always kept one on hand.
I've had a hankering to replay Unreal with the Serpentine mod recently, but the newer versions don't seem to work the same way - it's multiplayer or nothing. Does anyone else remember using Serpentine for singleplayer, and is there a way to still do this with Unreal Gold and the newer patches?

Re: Singleplayer Serpentine
I only recall the serpentine coopgame, not singleplayer. Only serpentine versions 7 and above are avaiable though, apart from "beta 1" though which had only one gun and was "200" compatible. The other versions are lost, even though I believe serpentine 6 had some of the guns that were later cut or something and that are still left-over in the int file.
The one problem with serpentine coopgame was that you couldn't pick up the grenade multiple times unfortunately. Because of weaponstay iirc.
