It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

General Protection Error
When i launch Unreal Gold using the 227 patch it shows up with a GPE. i've tried setting an exception for DEP, i've tried using dx9 instead of opengl. neither of those work. it probably has to do with the fact that my laptop has 2 graphics cards (integrated and a radeon) because it doesn't detect my graphics card so :\

After the crash, you will find a file Unreal.log in your Unreal(Gold)\System folder. This may contain technical details about the crash.
Can you post the last part of the log file here? It may help members here to try to analyze crash you get. For the layout it can help if you post it between code tags.

there is no unreal.log file in UnrealGold/system
