Hello first of all sorry for this post. I couldnt find my fix anywhere. I am sorry if there is a post about it.
I am using Unreal Gold edition via steam and I patched for 227i lately. In the wiki-faq it says I can just choose to play RTNP patch from newgame but theres no other choice then classic Unreal. How can I play return to napali help please.

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

It sounds like you might have downloaded the classic patch instead of the gold patch. Please run the following patch https://www.oldunreal.com/patch/UnrealGoldPatch227i.7z
