For direct access use https://forums.oldunreal.com
It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Unreal Tournament v469c Patch Release

UT now belongs to the "old" Unreal as well. Supporting it for OpenGL and Sound its time to put up a board now.

Unreal Tournament v469c Patch Release

Version 469c of our Unreal Tournament patch has just been released and is available on GitHub: https://github.com/OldUnreal/UnrealTour ... /tag/v469c

As always, please check out our README for the most up-to-date installation instructions.

Release notes are available here.

Bug reports can be filed here. When filing a bug report, please include all relevant details about your test setup (OS, OS version, mods, patch build date, etc).

My only bug is that the UTDM-monsters, which can be assigned to teams for team games, don't function properly under this new patch... which is why I'm not getting it.

It disables the monsters assigned to the Red Team; feel free to test - https://unreal-games.livejournal.com/185703.html

Run it now on v469c Release.

1. it show monsters on red team:

What I doing wrong?

In fact I even not need shoot them. I going in front of red skaarj and it attack me. Same in v436, same in v469c.

According to OjitroC, the issue is with the blue monsters and not the red ones.

Great job! Is it possible to get the ARM 64-bit binary, please? Would be great to be able to run it on the RPI4.

Any clue why ever sicne i installed v469c i get that Error Message on Exit?

This has been reported here, but since then there has been no reaction or confirmation from anyone else. Maybe you can help identifying the issue.

Hi there!
It's been almost 10 years since I logged on here!!!
Thanks, Smitftsch for helping me get back on.

Yesterday, I installed 469c on my rent-a-server.
For some reason, ALL the .DLLs were not allowed to be uploaded!
Totally KILLED my server.
Even told me Server Died!
This also made it impossible to restore the backup I made of the system folder.

I opened a ticket w/ GameServers and they installed the patch for me and everything is up to par.

If you have a rental VM like Game Servers, make your backup of the system folder on the server just in case of problems.

Out of curiosity is XOpenGL actually supported on Linux? I just tried to set the Settings on it but the game then would just crash with an error message.

Yes. it must work on Linux.
