It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Hold on, I thought you made you made gibs based on the titan model itself (btw at least the titan skull was once made, but not sure if its present in any of the unreal source archives, possibly not).

That can be made too, like...just take the model itself and cut out the parts, either by modifying it in something like u3dbinread or even trickery inside unrealed by turning it into brush and cutting it out but the other method might be preferable since you can delete polygons there. When u3dbinread wasn't around I had to set polys as hidden for stuff instead...via..damn what was the program called? Sudden amnesia...

not unst but the other thing, I suppose texed can do it too but that's not the point...

damn what was it called? I used it countless of times but u3dbinread made it obsolete.

But yea not to have unnecesary animation data you can just export an obj of a frame inside the 227 unrealed, then import that into u3dbinread, delete polygons and make proper gibbed skins!

I made the gibs in Blender by "dissecting" the Titan's mesh there. Then I imported the gibs back to UEd.

Edit.: That's how I made the destructible trees. (Inside the editor by converting the meshes to brushes and then intersecting the parts. Then converted them back to meshes.)

Its just the picture doesn't seem to show that, they seem to be random gibs. Would be better if you showed those new pieces on screenshot too.

but do you remember what the program was called that was used for many years to change the mesh poly flags? It was a simple program that couldnt even display the texture mapping on itself.
