Showing the direction of a light in UED?

I know in most scenarios it won't really matter, however it would be nice to have an indication of what way sunlight is facing, because it can be difficult to tell sometimes, especially when you already have other lighting in your level.

Hi Buffalo, the red arrow pointing from the actor graphic signifies the direction that the sunlight points Smiley

If it's not showing up for some reason it could be that some viewport rendering modes go a bit odd sometimes, and you need to manually switch from opengl/d3d to software in order to see the red arrow (then back when you're finished).

If you add a sunlight to your level, it should have an arrow pointing to where it's facing.
If you added a normal light and modified its light effect to sunlight, than you can show the arrow in its properties : advanced => bdirectional = true.
Same for spotlights.

You must construct additional pylons.

Small tip: change its Drawscale to 1.0. Problem is that the Sunlight Actors Drawscale is too big which covers up the arrow when the camera's facing its direction.
