PSXNelsian release (Skaarj "Hounds")

I decided to post this here too, although my post that explains my absence is gone with the threads purge.

I'm merging all the info here.

I withdrew this release since September last year (don't ask) and didn't get around updating/changing it since.

Here it is again, and with a full credit list:

PSXNelsian
Code and sound fx: LeoTCK
Mesh: Epic
New animations and UV map (and orig mesh import code): Alcapowned
Code fixes and one sound effect: CodeX
GreenDevil skin by: Metalfist

Please refer to Changes.txt for the cool changes made by CodeX.


PSXNelsianRelease.rar

It is based upon the predator code however. There is a backstory to this pawn, it was one of the first creatures devised for Unreal and later re-vised in the Unreal novel Hard Crash where the Skaarj are using Nelsians just like the Predators use these http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Hell-hound

It's recycling that concept and with the nali cows, nali rabbits and predators they are the only creatures in unreal to just have two legs and no arms (while gasbags for instance have no legs instead).

I am curious about 1 little thing, why is the .u called Nelsian?

Your Gargoyles had gargoyle in the .u, same as your minotaur.

It's no big deal, I'm just curious.

Aside the "devils" there's the normal nelsian. It is not abstract class....

That's related to the CTFGame itself. Things like this happen even with regular pawns. This won't likely crash the game, though you can disable logging of scriptwarnings altogether if it bothers you.

It's better than the mastiff, if not for the fact that Nelsian was described as having fur at some point. Though his legs are uncovered but i guess that can be a natural thing.

Well, those are VERY QUICK skin-edits. Done 'em in a span of 5 minutes.
