This is not the modified original quadshot model but the 227 "sawoff" version. The original is the quadshotheld stuff. And it's different (obviously).

Long ago I "contracted" masterunreal to make something similar, though based off the pump action shotgun of the original.

It didn't end up very well despite it almost being fine. Here's a message I sent to him about it(a bit cut off):

Here you go. It's your mesh except converted and "fixed" in unrealfx though it still contains holes and stuff like that. It had the running anim though. But I had to assign all the multiskin groups manually one by one on the hand. So yea, if you remember that mesh here it is lol. The source files are probably somewhere still, ones from blender or 3dsmax.

No mods. This map is also build by me. I'm still updating the whole single player campaign of Unreal to the 227 patch and add a bit more details and lot of effects which come with the 227 patch.

Everything you see there is still in progress and will be released in the next years as an updated Unreal version for free.

It was not planed to give all two handed weapons the second arm.

Most of the Unreal 1 weaponary are way to big to make the second hand visible.

It can be done, for sure but I thought the quadshot was the most logical choice in the first place.

But thanks to skywolf, if I would do this it wouldn't cost that much time to prepare the model to be import ready from blender to Unreal.



Do you think a second hand would fit on the most of the two handed weapons?

Well not just the second hand, but having a hand holding the razorjack and Biorifle for example, similar to how the Automag has it. It probably requires some changes to the original mesh though (especially that broken 1st person Biorifle mesh).

Whats exactly wrong with the Gesbiorifle 1st person mesh?

I just noticed that the sludgetupe isn't attached correctly to the model, the whole model is wobbling while animating
and there is an issue with higher fov.

are there more issues?

The back is missing, which is probably the fov problem you mentioned.

Okay I checked it. in 227i the back of the GesBioRifle is really missing.

Yrex sent a fixedmash wich has a closed back. What version of 227 do you use?
