Developers: Bleeder91 and RatapoM.
Status: Running, Work in Progress.

Rising City, a city terrorised by a disease that kills all the living.. and brings them back to life.
Here's a project I've been dieing to make for a long time, and I finally got a server running so why not get this one of the floor aswell. It's still work in progress, but the features will be:
  • Leveling system (ofcourse), with XP to unlock gear and every Level allows you to upgrade a stat such as speed, health and accuracy.
  • A shop to buy items/weapons from, such as chainsaws, shotguns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers, nightvision etc.
  • Multiple kinds of zombies/enemies to fight against.
  • Missions like carrying supplies back to camp.
  • More to come!

Could I get a link to RisingTextures.utx and RisingModels.u for compilation purposes?  I think that should cover everything.  I would get them from cache, but it seems missing...  If you'd rather just put the server up real quick I could just grab it that way instead  Wink

*NOTE* :  I moved RisingSaver to the Rising.u package and gave it a seperate config (RisingSaver.ini), because it made more sense to me.

Doesn't work. Still saves security code to server and uses server's code instead of the player's. Messed with it a bit but didn't come further than using the PRI's Server-side securitycode and not the Client-side code (in other words, doesn't load). You have msn or something?

Ah poop, I forgot a check to not SaveConfig() Rising.ini on the server.  This ini should only be for clients.  That's why its acting up.  quick fix will be up soon.

Make sure when you test this next that you delete Rising.ini from your server's system.

That should make Rising.ini only save to clients and not server.  I may have crappity smacked some of it up......

Myeah, I tryed adding it in playerpawn but that gives a fcked up ini with all the configs from the topclasses.. oh well, I can live with that I guess. Seems to work though. Thx dude!

NEW:
- Colt Pistol, AK47, FlameThrower.
- Spitter: Spits out a stream of acid.
- BroodMother: can call other zeds to attack you.

IMPROVED:
- HUD improvements
- Assassin now has the ability to dodge through anything to get behind you.

STATS:
- Added Accuracy.
- Will add skill levels for weapons which increase critical hits, reload times and switch times.

MAP:
- The city is expanding! In a few days some new parts will be available for exploration, such as the docks and back alleys.
- Missions are Work In Progress. The first one to come out is a Scavenger mission; search for supplies and take 'em back to the Outpost.

SERVER:
- The server is still up from time to time!
- If it's your first time joining, the website should open. It's still under construction but will hold a lot of info regarding stats, inventory, shops, enemies and weapons.

Just took a peek at this, how did you make it Top-Down like the TopReal mod? It looks good, so when I reinstall U1 besides UT99 (For collecting purposes), I'll grab this too. And was that a flamethrower?

Forced behindview and some changes in the cameralocation. And yes, that was a flamethrower.
Kinda busy brainstorming on this atm, looking for a mapper/ideas. Also thinking about being able to rotate the screen when you drag it with RMB. Works so far, just dodging is a problem.

Yup, Looks like a return to Unreal 1 just might be a pwnage idea, haven't enjoyed anything Co-op-like since I started playnig the Gothic and LoK series. So, what's the name of the server and at what time is it functional?
