I have a custom smoke generator in the Skybox smoking around, and I see the smoke in both the sky as in it's original location. Like this:
...
Switching to software doesn't fix it, so it's not a renderer problem. Putting the Skybox further away from the map doesn't fix it either.

Oh, and it isn't visible in 226f. Tongue

actually I don't get it. Could you rephrase and give more input? I mean, if putting smoke into the skybox it should be visible there? Or do you mean its visible through the wall in the actual level and not only in the fake backdrop surface?

And if happening with this custom smoke generator- what about other actors or other generators?

Details about the generator itself would be helpful then also Tongue

Yeah sorry 'bout that.
Results with normal SmokeHose actor:
...
It's visible all the way through the map to the skybox. And I have 227h.

To be more clear, it only happens with actors drawn with DT_Sprite.

I've had this happen in UT2004 with the particle emitters, there I fixed it with simply moving skybox under the map itself so that it wont be visible at any point.

Yeah that works in this case, but it doesn't work in maps like SkyTown.
Unless you build a wall between the skybox and the level itself.
