At least from a first person meleeers view. Because the melee weapons are third person only. Its way better to use the new Unreal4Ever or JunkWars and BallisticWeapons which offer good FP melee stuff.

Hell I actually liked the Chaos stuff though the sword
was kinda lame in UT99 it at least allowed blocking.
In my opinion melee weapons are literally made for
first person since it works perfectly like a few games
show. But third person only is nothing than a blast
from the 2d past what some game makers cant realize.
What is this "aerialview" and how does it work in detail?

I'd like a mod that supports Chaos Duel,Chaos Horde Hunt, and SkaarjFest that adds 3rd person. In CHH you have to either pick up a weapon or summon one when AV is on... THAT'S why I want a 3rd prsn mod. you know one?

My CUT2 melee gametype is third person only and therefore I asked for a way to play it in first person view. P.S.: The normal tournament chaos weapons are respectable though. But I cant stop continuing why there be not a t least a fp option for the melee stuff.

HOOK is correct. I currently run a UT99 Chaos server and a UT2004 Chaos server. I also run a UT99 U4E server.

As time permits I plan to do much more with both of my CHAOS servers. I'd be happy to hear suggestions too but keep them simple as I am a old and simple person. LOL.

I really would like to learn more about these mods I'm running from people like yourselves that actually played them back in the day!
