I've asked permissions ot use stuff to people who stopped working with unreal in 2002 and got answers. Unless you're using homing pigeons to ask for the permission, it's at worse a couple of days before someone responds, but it seems yoru utter disrepect for property cannot wait for that long, so anyway, go on.

No - it absolutely makes no sense for me
since I dont use the stuff for earning money or fame.
Now you may say I do it to fog my utter activities by
spreading parental stuffs but thats your opinion
and not that of all downloaders.

Kaal, you don't understand because you don't have absolutelly the slightest clue what the word "work" means.

Do you actually know that most of the mods you gathered wouldn't even exist if actual "workers" and familly heads, parents and people with a very active life didn't place their small free time into making something they considered "better" and more fullfilling like development?

Placing stuff in a "pack" is NOT the same thing as placing it in a page seperatelly, specially the way you did it, you bundled everything to work with the stuffswapper from what it seems.
What guarantees any of us "developers" that you didn't modify anything in the packs? The only thing I can think of is an md5 hash, but I am sure that some of those packs will give different values from the original packages, and anyone installing that will have lots of mismatches on servers.

What guarantees that you just didn't make a super huge bullshit there which makes games crash or worse with our names on it without us even realize?
I know someone who got in some trouble with the community thanks to people like you.

Do you even know that many modders actually present their mods as part of their portfolio when attempting to enter the industry?

Do you even know the months of work put in each one of those packages?

Do you even know if they are fully compatible and will work right?

Do you even think that you're talking with actual human beings?


Obviouslly you don't have the slighest clue, so don't even bother to say "I don't understand", because you never dropped a single drop of sweat doing something, I am pretty sure of that, so you will never  understand the standing of actual "developers".

Seriously - the stuff in those packages is good
or very good how it was (xcept the giantic U2 vehicles oc)
and I made them to help gamers who doesnt have
so much time for whatever reason.
Im pretty sure  that even some creators of
included or not mods are among them
and actually nobody responds with negativity.

P.S.: Make this collection in one year and youre a master ... .

I didn't mean to start all this...lol

Anyway, it doesn't matter what kind of content, no matter how good that's in the pack, it's still common courtesy to ask the mod makers if you can repackage their mods and release them as 1 massive bundle. Hypothetically if I did that, I'd at least put a massive banner across the top of the post stating that the mods weren't mine.

Yes I did, but it was horribly broken (Like all my UT mods) It had no ai support and it broke in oldskool. I guess I should've made it for U1...

If you still have that mod Kalec, I'd be happy if you could send it to me Smiley

Sorry - I only store the usable (complete) stuffs.
If you like to know what the people want are the guns
from CovertForces (a.o.) converted into single files.
Of course not any - but the tiny MAC or the SAW
for example. Maybe with new skins and damages
to match the original UT style ... .

Agreed, It's ashame that sh*t like this still happens, they fail to realise the amount of hard graft and effort that goes into making projects that are essentially profitless and for some, help secure a future in the industry. They don't understand the seriousness behind it all.

And no he doesn't understand that he is communicating with human beings - because he isn't one. Give a monkey a plane and sooner or later he will learn to fly it.

Its ok "Tigress".
But another tip about the
weapon files. If I knew how Id 100%y
convert the assaultrifle from Marathon Resurrection.
This damn thing is THE missing addition to the original
weaponry and sucks with the rest of the package.

EDIT: Maybe there are some other cool ones though
so a MRLite mod would be awesome. Possibly even the
original creator could be moved to this ... .

Maybe you should try giving _credit_ so that people know ya didn't steal a mod,Kaal.

For example I'm modding NW1 with the permission of Feralidragon and he gets 50% of the creds...

Made a new
MH-MeltTown
version final 3 with some brushes
set to semisolid for better performance and changed
basement windows and corrected skins.

update with performance i
mprovement by changing some adds to semisolid.
Only the playerstarts seem to collide with semisolids somehow.
Also added a nice monsterend effect.
