Better than playing with just Serp on its own i would think...

Yes...

... and someone was asking about UT already for Serp.

The problem is first, Unreal and UT cannot play together, even if you GET a mod to run in UT which was written for Unreal, you can not join an Unreal server with UT and vice versa.

Second, the chances that a total conversion mod (and Serpentine and Infiltration qualify as such) does run on the other engine are slim, VERY slim. In many cases, core variables have changed over the engine versions, so, if one is used in the mod, the other engine cannot LOAD the mod because the variable is not there.

Now... why could there be a UT build of UTF at all then? Well, because I tossed out almost EVERYTHING except the very basic of classes. I would have to test if Serpentine loads at all in UT. If it does, chances are the GameBridge works too. But I strongly doubt it.

When I goto the Serpentine Server there's never anyone there to play. Sad

you have any way get hold of the old players that use to play on the Server. Like WGPEagle and the others that played. And there was some girl that use to play on your Server like all the time lived the same place you do forget name. Would like have some people play sucks I sit in server for hr's and no one comes can you help plzzzz. Thanks.

When downloading maps and the other files before you get into the game it seems to be downloading real slow. Just wanted to ask what are the Ticks set at? I think if they were set to 25 would help a little on download speed. Thanks.

I get a serialisation error when i try to join and the server is empty even though there were five of us playing before, so i think everyone is getting this error. I tried downloading the map from the server, same thing.

lol you show up at the funniest of times, only to leave again a moment later... I wasn't aware you even still played.

I haven't been on the server for ages but thought I have played iron fort in the past. In case of doubt I suggest Smirftsch removes the map.

For "quick fix" solutions for admins as the server runs UTF (I hope it still does), you can issue a command from outside like...

open [IP:Port]?password=[adminMASTERpw]?Command=skip

This would tell the server to skip the current map. An administrator doing that will NOT join the server.
